And I am waiting for that magic 60 day mark to reserve my unit. (I mentioned earlier in this thread that that weekend is my birthday -- and the kids have mon/tues off from school. How could we NOT go play?)

I just got back from Indio on Sunday. I'll go in January - wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to meet as many WMOwners as possible.

Sounds Like Fun!

Make sure to watch the reservation system as it looks like there are stand alone days opening up! :)

Neci, glad to hear that you are planning to join the SPUDGOO. I think it will be very exciting.

I have made my flight reservations too... so ... unless something drastic happens, I will be attending the SPUDGOO... Yaaay!!! \:D/

Palm Springs is the closest. Orang County (SNA) is the next closest one (I think)...

Are you planning to come Evelina? That would be awesome if you could come.

Actually, Ontario (ONT) is closer than Orange County (SNA) and it's probably easier to get a flight into there than Orange County.

Rich, I think you are right. Since Southwest flies directly to SNA I was able to get a one way ticket for $50 to SNA from SJC. I didn't check to see if SWA flies into ONT.

It's my birthday weekend also. I need to see how much a ticket is from SeaTac to Indio.
When is the MLK holiday celebrated in 2007?

The airfare is prohibitive. I'll see about buddy passes.

That's the weekend we're talking about! My kids and husband will be off on Monday for MLK, and the kids are also off on Tuesday for an end-of-quarter teacher work day. (Yep, we'll have to bring the kids this time ... no way will they let us get away with TWO consecutive adult-only WM vacations. They were about to "divorce" us over leaving them home when we went to Seattle last week!)

Not in the 2 bedroom yet ... even New Year's Eve is still available! But thanks for the reminder, I will be sure to check in a couple of times a day just in case.

Is it always a Monday that is the holiday?
Mlk weekend always falls on my birthday. So I get a 3 day weekend.

Your birthday must be a couple of days later than mine. I am the 14th, so my birthday sometimes falls in the week before the holiday. But my daughter's is the 18th, so we usually take the holiday and call it a birthday trip no matter what the actual date is! \:D/
