We stayed at Discovery Bay over Memorial Day weekend (had a wonderful time) and found the on-site restaurant (Discovery Bay Oyster House) still closed indefinitely. Notes posted on the doors/windows of the restaurant cite issues with Worldmark/Trendwest employees for causing them to close and indicates that litigation may be pending. This got me wondering what issues there could have been or what sorts of problems have prompted this closure - and whether the problem was really with individual employees or the broader corporate managment. This is apparently a very good and popular restaurant in the area and I'm sure that many people, beyond WM owners staying at the resort, are sad that it remains closed.

I'm not trying to stir anything up, rather just wondering what has happened to make the restaurant owners decide to close the doors. They are clearly blaming Worldmark/Trendwest -- does anyone know anything more about this situation?
