Since it is becoming a money making rental company for so many instead of a travel club like intended, they just need to maintain it at a Motel 6 standard. :(

The cheapest motels - Motel 6, Super 8, Knights, etc - can afford to have Coffee in the Lobby. But not the "Resort at Seaside." Maybe if we got a new General Manager we would have Coffee in the Lobby. It is worth a try.

I've heard great things about the General Manager. Is this a new one again?

I would hate to see someone fired for such triviality. #-o

Don't worry, they don't get fired for annoying us - they get fired for annoying Wyndham.

When it comes to the general manager I take my cues from Jim Pappas and Tim Tolan board member of

the Seaside Residence Club HOA. They say he is doing a good job. I can live with that. Less stress in life the better

So we are leaving today for our Residence Club Week at Seaside. We got an email about having to wear Wrist Bands. So we have a couple questions.

1. Is the Wrist Band thing permanent or just because it is Beach Volleyball Weekend?

2. Do they have Coffee in the Lobby area?

To my fellow Residence Club Owner...... Do you Know how many of us Residence Club members (Fractional Owners) are still left? I know that at one time the entire 7th and 8th floors had Residence Club "ID" on entry, buy now there far and few between..... any thoughts....

I know of 5. But our Annual meeting is about to take place in September. Also there is a new Online site for us separate from the section on this Forum.

Another down check for Seaside. They did away with the "Elite Check In" Service for Travelshare Members. When I talked to the Front Desk they stated that the GM did not believe that any WM Member should be treated differently or special than any other Member. This is still Listed as a Benefit on the Travelshare Page. So apparently Wyndham still believes it should be a Benefit.

So another reason to downgrade the Resort on the Post Stay Survey.

This GM needs to go.

What the heck difference is "elite" check in anyway?
I say good for them.
