That isn't good news. I could live without wifi but no tv while falling asleep at night might be more then we can handle?

Well, if you fly down there the same way you flew to Hawaii, you might not be aware of anything for five days anyway??

TV is working as is the "resort net" paid internet and also the free computer room has internet. Everything looks great!

The new penthouse is amazing! Of course, I never saw it before so I have nothing to compare to, but I will try to attach pictures. We are staying in the 2 bedroom penthouse. Both bedrooms have queen beds (murphy bed in the living room is double bed) so unfortunately no twins like the regular 2 bedrooms.

The living room has an extra sitting area and the master bedroom opens onto the balcony so you have a double balcony area with a table, chairs, and BBQ. The spiral stairs lead to a private rooftop area with a hot tub and table to eat at.

I thought the spiral staircase was outside, on the patio.

I've been there once and want to go back. I wish airfare wasn't so high from Salt Lake City.

Some stairways are outside... Some inside. I like the extra sitting area... It used to be extra dining... Which was nuts because you already had the main dining area plus 2 outside dining tables... One on each deck. Much nicer to have the extra living space.

My impression of Coral Baja was that it was a conversion. The washer and dryer was like an afterthought, which has it's own entrance from the outside. The spiral staircases was probably was an afterthought also.

Coral Baja was built to be sold as year round Condo's. There are 6 or 7 Condo's in the complex that are fully privately owned. That is why there are some Reserved Parking spots with the Condo Room Number. There was a down turn in the economy and Trendwest stepped in and bought the complex. We just stayed in a 2 bedroom ground floor (our favorite location). We like immediate access to the pool, no elevator and no stairs. The laundry was outside with access through the kitchen. We like it because no laundry room noise inside and you have a small laundry room instead of a laundry closet.
