We'll be in Gleneden right after Labor Day - our first visit there. We love seafood and any suggestions for restaurants in the area would be great.
Doesn't have to be fancy, just good! Thanks for your help.

There is a chain called "Mo's" that everyone raves about.... we tried it, but liked "Tidal Raves" much better. It is in Depoe Bay, a short drive from Gleneden. The view over the ocean was great from Tidal Raves and we could see the whales spouting. Mo's have three locations that are within driving distance. One is on the historic waterfront in Newport. The one closest to Gleneden also has a great beach -- good for walking, and there are lots of seals hanging in that area. This one is just on the outskirts of Lincoln City, on the southern end.

If you fancy catching your own fish/crab, go for a charter fishing trip with one of the charter outfits out of Depoe Bay. I went on the "Tacklebuster".... caught my limit of sea bass (10 big uns) and shared 47 full-sized male crabs with 6 others! They will clean and fillet the fish/crabs for 50cents each on your return. Tradewinds was the charter company name. They are on the internet. It was fun! I even gussied up some crab crepes for dinner!

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ann

Pass on small kindnesses every day.. you'll be surpised how good it will make you feel!
