Pros:    Close to theme parks.Spacious bedrooms. Warm pools.
Cons:   No place to store items in kitchen and bathrooms.Noise from International Drive.
Review: Nice resort. We stayed in a 3 bdrm unit. The unit was decorated nicely and had 3 balconies. The main bdrm was roomy with a small refrigerator and microwave between the bedroom and the bathroom. The other bedrooms were roomy also. Each bdrm had a TV and DVD player. There were three bathrooms in the unit. The kitchen and main sitting area felt cramped. No place to store groceries except the counter and fridge. Also the bathrooms had no drawers to store items,so everything sat on top making it very cluttered. The resort grounds were nice, especially the pool area. There are two pools which are both heated, and two hot tubs. Next to one of the pools is the Reef Grille whrere you can get refreshments. Very small exercise room and game room. The exercise room had two treadmills(one was broken),stair climber, bike, and universal weight set.The game room had some arcade games none of which our boys said were fun. The staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. Road noise from International Drive which is next to the resort was distracting. There is a Publix grocery store, several eateries less than a mile away. The resort is fairly close to all the theme parks with SeaWorld being the closest at 4 miles to the north. All the units are being refubished at this time. The Pineapple Grille is an onsite restaraunt in the main bldg. We did not eat there due to the lowest price for dinner was $13. With 5 people, that adds up fast. There is also a small gift/convenience store in the main bldg that was stocked quite well. Adding some other activity items such as ping-pong,pool tables etc., would add more to the resort. But since most people are walking their dogs off at the theme parks during the day, they probably just want to come back and soak in the water. Overall it was nice, but,we have stayed at nicer more fun WM resorts.

Pros:    Great Location to all that Orlando has to offer!
Cons:   No soap available for the Laundry!
Review: My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this WM. We stayed in a 3 bedroom unit for 8 people that was absolutely wonderful. There were 3 separate balconies that we enjoyed. Two of our boys were delighted as they really enjoyed sleeping in double beds by themselves! This WM is conveniently located to all of the attractions in Orlando, but what we were surprised at, was the way it was in a quiet area that seemed kind of secluded from the hub-bub of tourists!

The weather was great, especially having it be so warm there, as we left our home in the snow! The grounds and swimming pools were great. In fact, while enjoying the days at Sea World and the Universal Parks, my famiy always wanted to end the day early at the attractions so that they could enjoy the swimming at the pools! My husband and I really enjoyed soaking in the hot tubs after each exhausting day of walking all over the parks. Plus, our family also really enjoyed getting to swim before they started a long day at the parks!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to change our reservations to include 1 more night in Orlando and 1 less night at the WM in Daytona Beach, and the staff was so good to work with us on this so that we wouldn't have to change the rooms that we were staying in. The only drawback I had with the resort was that there wasn't a washer and dryer in the suites, but rather a community laundry. This would have been fine, but I think that it would be nice if laundry soap was available in each of the rooms rather than having to wait for Housekeeping to bring laundry soap. By the time Housekeeping brought me my soap, I had to leave because we had dinner reservations, so the laundry didn't get done. My other regret was that there was a gift shop at the resort that had a curio cabinet full of crystals souvenirs that I would have loved to purchase, but unfortunately, the shop was closed everytime that I was down in the lobby. Other than those minor details, I would definitely recommend this resort to anybody. It was great! The living room/dining/kitchen was small but that doesn't really matter in Orlando, because really, who goes to Orlando to spend their time in the room! The resort's location is superb! We're looking forward to spending more vacations there!

Pros:    Rooms were well decorated and close to resorts.
Cons:   The unit was too small and cramped. The kitchen was esp. tiny. The pool was not very impressive.
Review: We spent 2 nights here in a 2 bedroom after 4 days at Ocean Walk. This condo doesn't compare favorably to Ocean Walk in any way other than theme park location and weather. The unit was really cramped and the resort had very little to do(ammenities). Probably the least impressive of the WM resorts I've stayed in.

Pros:    Clean resort with friendly staff, 1 mile from entrance to Seaworld, and near Disney World. Close to shopping, dining and Marriott resorts.

Cons:   No washer/dryer in the units.
Review: We stayed in a 1 BR unit at the Worldmark Orlando during Thanksgiving weekend in 2005. It is a great resort. Worldmark owns a few units at this resort while the rest is owned by the Crowne Plaza hotel/resort. The resort is managed by Crowne Plaza, and not Trendwest employees. Check in was extremely easy, and the front desk person gave us a list of activities available at and around the resort as well as information about the on-site restaurant. The resort grounds were immaculately maintained. I was happy to see the pool being open from 7 AM to 12 AM! There are two pools, at least one kiddie pool, and a large hot tub right outside the lobby building. Next to the pool is the workout room as well as men's and women's locker room. A sand volleyball court and tennis courts are available as well.

We took a quick peek at the on-site restaurant. It looked like a very classy one with elegant decor etc. Although we received a discount coupon for breakfast for next morning we did not eat at this restaurant.

The Crowne Plaza hotel has a large lobby/public area where WiFi is available for their guests. If you ask the person at the check-in counter, they would provide you with an access code that can be used to get on the internet. The Crowne Plaza hotel also has a 'Business Center' where one can access their computer, fax machines, copiers etc. at a charge. When I was trying to use the computer at the 'Business Center' I realized that the printer was broken. Since my main intent was to print my boarding pass, I abandoned the idea of using the machine here and walked to the checkin counter. The rep was extremely helpful. She accessed my itinerary and printed our boarding passes within a few seconds!

When we were checking in on Saturday night, we were greeted by an artist at the lobby. She was drawing carricatures and other designs on small cards and giving those to guests. She was also getting guests to make greeting cards and adding additional details on the guests' cards to make those look even more professional. Apparently it was another activity that was being sponsored by the resort for the enjoyment of their guests.

The unit was clean, however a bit smaller than units at other Worldmark resorts. It had a small kitchen that had a medium sized refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, and dish washer. All the pots and pans needed for four people as well as the usual spices and salt and pepper were also available. The units do not have washer and dryer. A few washers and dryers were available free of charge in the laundary rooms on the second and fourth floors.

There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room. The unit also had a full bathroom with a shower over tub. The furnishings and fxtures looked like they were practically new.

The resort is situated on the busy International Drive, almost next door to the Marriott Grande Vista resort. The entrance to Seaworld is just over a mile away. Restaurants and shopping as well as freeway access are just a few minutes away from the resort.

I would defenitely go back to this fun, friendly and fabulous resort when I visit Orlando next time.

Pros:    Located close to the parks.
Cons:   Small kitchen, no in-room laundry.
Review: We stayed in a two bedroom unit for 3 nights in January. Since we were on the run at the parks the smaller living space didn't bother us. After walking all day the hot tub is all that matters.
I think there were two washers and dryers per floor. I never had a problem using them. I was prepared and had brought laundry soap from home.
If you want to save $ on food I highly recommend easy dinners from the Publix, like frozen pizza and a salad mix. The kitchen is a little small for larger meals. Don't be afraid to pack a lunch to the parks. We went to Universal Studios and they just cared about weapons coming in, not food.
We really enjoyed our meal out at Pat O'Brians in City Walk. We even asked and got a AAA discount(10% off). It never hurts to ask.
Whenever we fly to a location and will be changing resorts we buy a foam cooler. This is very handy for packing a lunch if we'll be gone all day.
The one thing that I would do differently is to stay here BEFORE going to Daytona. But overall this resort is great for its location and basic amenities.

Pros:    see below
Cons:   terrible
Review: I actually got here the night before and stayed across the drive at the Crown Plaza.

I checked out and came over to Worldmark Kingston Reef at 9am told them I was here and that I wanted best available since a) I booked 13 month out on credits and b) I was the first person there that day.

I told the desk clerk that I wanted another room because that room was unacceptable to me. I did not recieve a welcome pack with goodies.

WELL, when I got back from a 1/2 day at Animal Kingdom, I got the keys to room 1101 in building 1, first floor in the end of the building next to the trash, next to International Drive and tucked practically under the staircase. The view out of the window was of the working side of the exercise room's air-conditioning unit. The view also supplies me with a vista of the construction site along International Boulevard. Apparently they are digging up the sreet and putting in big water run-off drainage pipes in and according to the desk clerk the work starts at 9am.

I came back to the lobby and this is where I am writing this review. The bad desk clerk is only steps away from me. If she only knew what I was writing.

I asked her to put in a request (with many exclamation points !!!!!!) that I want the next room change as soon as it becomes available.

Peggy Fry are you reading this. I worked too hard for my vacation only to have it wonked by Worldmark.

I was given the owner services phone number and I will be calling tomorrow morning....If they can hear me in my room over the road construction. This is unacceptable

Oh yeah some of the dishes, pots, spatula were dirty when I wanted to cook my dinner.

I am not happy with this resort and it does not equal others that I have seen, namely Windsor and Indio.

Pros:    The staff here is sooo helpful and friendly.
Cons:   No washer and dryers in room, needs a bigger resort sign
Review: This is by far the best Worldmark resort that I have been to (even though I've only been to two). We got here around two and even though check-in isn't until four, the desk let us go ahead and get the room since it was ready. The condo is HUGE, like a regular two bedroom apartment. Had a little confusion with trying to figure out which place it was since I was referred to look for the Crowne Resort sign. Everything is clean and nice, nothing looks dirty outside of regular wear and tear ( which is few). I really like the setup of the resort along with its location in the middle to everything on International Drive. The resort was maintained really neat and clean also.

Pros:    Nice units. Nice pool and hot tubs. Very handy location. Nice patios.
Cons:   Small kitchen, but stocked like you would expect. The living area is small, but nice.
Review: Nice resort. The pools were not busy at all, so it was easy to have some nice relaxing time. The resort is only about a mile from SeaWorld, so that was handy. The Publix grocery store was probably only about a mile away. Their Key Lime Pies were delicious!!
I may try to add pictures later.
