Pros:    Everything!
Cons:   The long flight and having to go home!
Review: Fijian people are extremely nice and helpful. The resort is about 20 min from the airport. Many taxis available but we pre-arranged with Rosie's Tours to pick us up as our son-in-law had his surf board. Usually, you arrive in the morning, 5:00A.M? We however, arrived at 5:00PM due to a problem with our flight - the pilot had too many hours and could not fly until the next morning so we lost a day of our vacation. They say you can put your luggage, etc. in a room made available until 4:00 check-in. Personally, I would book an extra day on the front and back to not have to worry about check-in or check-out (we did that). The ocean front resort is beautiful. The grounds are well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rosie's tours is located in the lobby to arrange visits to other islands and such. We went to many and a dinner cruise to First Landing, and a Seaspray sailboat excursion to a village and snorkling at the island Tom Hanks made Castaway. The marina is walking distance. All island tours begin here. There is an onsite restaurant. We ate there and at the 3 Sheratons down the beach. The pool is VERY large with a swim-up bar. There is an excersize room and bicycles to ride around Denaru Island. We had a 2BDRM, 2BA (showers ony) unit. It was very large. Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, 2 TV's, VCR, Radio/CD player. Individual room air conditioners. You can take the local bus into town or a taxi. The taxi driver will ask when you want to go back and he will be there waiting regardless of how long it takes you. About $10F round trip. Convenience store and gift shop onsite. Children program onsite. Equipment rental: seadoo and sailboard onsite. You can learn scuba/snorkling. These cost $$. Relaxing & enjoyable trip.
