Within easy walking distance of all the action and Blackcomb Mountain, you'll find a huge variety of options for dining, shopping, and outdoor activities. Your resort offers an outdoor pool, 2 outdoor spas, an excercise room, ski/mtn bike storage, and shared a shared PC. *The Gondola closes down towards the end of September for repairs and maintenance, so call 604-905-5600 (to find out when maintenance will be performed) if you plan to be here during this time and the Gondola is of importance to you. 1-bdrm/1-bath: sleeps 4 (512 to 665 square feet)Master - Queen Important to note this is also a hotel, with WM owning a few of the suites. All units offer full kitchens, gas fireplace, TV with VCR, CD stereo, washer / dryer, air conditioning, sleeper sofas, and hairdryers. The balconies are long and narrow. Due to a zoning law, there are no outdoor barbeques allowed at this location. Some rooms have no view and no balconies. These units are listed as "No Deck." ADA compliance kits are available. WorldMark owns 42 1-bdrm units, 42 total units. There are no scheduled activities currently offered at this resort. Might be better to stock up on groceries at Squamish. There is a large grocery store in Whistler, with some neat edibles, but you will pay more. Alcohol is cheaper in the US. Canadian government controls the alcohol distribution in Canada. There is a Liquor Store outlet in Whistler. Don't forget to try some BC wines-look for the VQA label. That means they have been approved by knowledgeable Vintners.
