Anyone else interested in getting together at Windsor (or elsewhere in the bay area) on August 9? Maybe meet for dinner? I don't mind a bit of a drive to meet you.
I understand that JR (wmsonoma), windsordebbie, Lorene, and mullanski are all in the Windsor area, and Kapish said he would be interested in coming up. Anyone else? (Yes, I know I just missed the NorCal GOO, but here's a second chance if you missed that one too!)
I'd love to meet more WMOwners friends!

| I would love to see everyone come to the Wine Country. The Windsor resort is beautiful. The 9th is much better for me then the 10th. Wednesday is wide open but I am free from 9-2 if Thursday works better for others. |

| Thanks Tonya and Lorene. I am glad you are able to join the GOO. I was also inclining towards Wednesday the 9th. I am hoping to be able to come up by there around mid-afternoon and leave around 8 PM as it will be about 2 hours drive for me each way. |

The 9th it is, then! I'm so excited to meet so many of you!
Someone local will have to decide where we should meet. Would it work to gather at the pool where my kids can play, then go to dinner somewhere? I know nothing about the resort or the area, so I'm at the mercy of you who do. |

I will bring my son (10 yrs) if we are going to spend time near the pool etc., and if he can play in the pool.
About 3 miles away from the resort is old town Windsor. There are a few really cool restaurants. Mary's Pizza Shack is just one exit away. GREAT pizaa, salad and pasta. All these places are just 5-10 minutes away! We could even order pizza to the resort!
There is a nice lounge near the lobby and we can get together at the pool area too. |

| At the resort would be ideal for me because the kids could entertain themselves at the pool or in the room while we visit. But I also don't mind travelling a bit ... my oldest is old enough that I could leave her in charge while they watch movies in the unit or something. |

OK, it was pointed out to me that I'd better be making some decisions or this thing will never get put together. 
So I propose ....
* GOO at WM Windsor Wednesday August 9
* Meet at 3:00 pm by the pool to hang out while kids swim/play AND/OR
* Join us at Mary's Pizza Shack in old town Windsor at 6pm for dinner. Kids welcome.
* Back to the resort after dinner? We'll see what's going on at that point.
Manoj or JR, could you give us an address for and/or directions to Mary's Pizza Shack?
Please post here if you're planning to join us for dinner, so we'll have some idea of how much table space we need! |
