The original information was compiled into an Excel spreadsheet by Bluejack and transcribed into the matrix by Hatrack. Thank you both for taking the time to do this for all of us!

-----------------------------

What Can This Information Be Used For:

1. Perhaps you are looking for time periods to travel within the WM system when it will cost you less points - the matrix can help guide you to which resorts offer blue/white time and during which time periods. It shows all the resorts that have blue and white weeks.

Additionally, blue/white time bookings are not subject to the weekend rule or the 7 day minimum rule!

2. Perhaps you need to book a reservation @ 13 months but do not need the full 7 days - you can add on "throw away days" ...blue/white time add-on days to bring the reservation up to 7 days without being forced to book at the full red credit values. These extra days can be given to friends/family, rented out, or possibly just used as filler and thus thrown away.

3. For those looking to book units for exchange with an independant exchange company, the matrix can help guide you to which weeks offer the point totals you are looking for and in which areas.

*** St George is listed on the matrix with blue time in the winter... historically, St George has offered their blue time in the summer (due to the high heat). I have contacted WM regarding this change - trying to confirm if the change was due to data entry error, or if the change will be permanent. I will let you know the results when my query is answered.

***This matrix is based on 2006 dates - therefore, 2005/2007 dates may be slightly different. Please check the specific resort information for exact usage dates.

Enjoy!

Kim

I wanted a visual blue/white one-stop-shop and I didn't want to convert weeks into what days I wanted, so I created my own. The attachment is in html format, but isn't loading for me. Maybe a MOD needs to activate it. If you want the original Excel spreadsheet, PM me.

Here is the 2010 Blue/White Matrix in PDF. I have it in a Excel format which is much easier to read, without zooming. PM me with your email address, if you want a copy of the Excel spreadsheet.

Although I only color coded the Blue and White seasons, obviously the remaining non-colored areas are Red season.

Oops! I forgot to unhide some rows. Below is updated 2/1/09 7:45 pm Pacific.

The only changes, besides the adjustment of a day, due the day of the week January 1st starts, was in Branson and Canmore-Banff. It is probably a typo but Grand Lake Dec 16-18 is both in Red and Blue Season. It is most likely Blue.

Since they are not putting out the DVCV for all resorts, this info has become more valuable. Thanks atom.
I will pm you my email.

If you have 2010's, as stated above, there were only a couple changes. All the dates shifted by 1 day because of the day January 1st is on.

That's a good observation. What's the other one?

The couple of changes, besides the shifting of a day, was Branson and Canmore-Banff. Grand Lake changed as well, but that was probably a typo.

Maybe we will go to Canmore in 2011 again. The road trip we made last fall was very delightful, thanks to everybody's advice. But there are so many places we would like to go to! So little time!! I will have to look at the spreadsheet that you sent me.
