What is it?
A special benefit where owners utilize last-minute space in our resorts without using credits and without incurring housekeeping fees!
How much does it cost?
4.4 ($0.044) cents per credit with a minimum fee of $30 per night (Costs are subject to annual changes) + any additional occupancy taxes (charged by certain municipalities - not a WM fee)
When can I book it?
Reservations can be made online or by calling the VPC 14 days or less in advance
How does it work?
- You may book 1-4 days at a time (in as many as 4 resorts - perfect for traveling from Point A to Point B).
- Only ONE Bonus Time booking allowed at a time - you can book another Bonus Time reservation as soon as the current one is completed.
- Midweek Usage - you can book as many midweek Bonus Time reservations as you would like each quarter
- Weekend-Only Usage - Weekend-only is considered the booking of ONLY Friday and Saturday nights. Any 3 night booking is NOT considered weekend-only. Owners with less than 20k credits can book one weekend only reservation per quarter, with one additional weekend-only reservation being allowed for each 10k credit increment above 20k (20k-29,999 = 2, 30k-39,999 = 3 and so on)
Can my guests use Bonus Time?
Yes! The booking window for Guest use of Bonus Time (meaning that the Owner will not be at the resort to check them in) is five days or less before check-in.
What if I have to cancel my reservation?
Reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to your arrival date. Reservations made within the 48 hour window may not be cancelled without potential loss of $$$. If you do have to cancel within 48 hours, there is a chance you can receive a refund if another owner happens to pick up the time. Contact Owner Services and request an audit of the reservation.
What is Exotic Bonus Time?
- Available inventory in locations where Trendwest does not have a sales presence: Currently, Hawaii, Cabo San Lucas, and Fiji.
- Book 30 days and less prior to arrival
- Book as many days as are available - if 2 weeks are available you can book it!
- Book more than one unit
- Book more than one location
- Book guests 30 days in advance as well
- Costs are the same as regular Bonus Time - 4.4 ($.044) cents per credit, $30 per night minimum, plus any applicable taxes. (Costs are subject to annual changes)

Tips to secure a Bonus Time reservation
- Prior to the 14-day window, watch resort availabilities to get a feel for what may be available
- Be flexible - Use the Bonus Time search function on the Worldmark website to see what availabilities exist in the areas you would like to visit, not limiting yourself to any one particular resort
- Check Inventory Frequently - Online Booking is available from 6:00am PST - 11:30pm PST daily - inventory displayed there is "real time" and changes constantly throughout the day. It has been reported that between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. is a good time to look for Bonus Time
- Be persistent - You can increase your chances of securing a reservation by checking availability frequently throughout the day and evening
- Don't Delay - if you see an opening for the dates you need, book them ASAP as availabilities often go quickly! Remember WorldMark's generous cancellation policy. If in doubt, book it right away -- you can always change or cancel it later! (But watch your cancellation dates.)
